We report course completions the next business day.
If your credits are not yet visible in the OHID Portal at the time of your renewal, you must manually upload digital copies of your Certificates of Completion to the portal to proceed. Until further notice we are advising agent to log their course completions before starting their renewal process. |

Certificates of Completion
|
|
|
Immediately upon real estate course completion being reported, GeeWhiz Real Estate School will provide you with an electronic copy of your course certificate of completion. Customer service will have access to your certificates of completion in your account for a minimum of five years, should you need additional copies at a later time.
Please keep these certificates in your personal files. While GeeWhiz Real Estate School reports your hours to the Division of Real Estate every business day, you are required to submit or validate your credits as part of your renewal process. |

Can I repeat a course I've already taken?
|

No. You cannot earn credit for the same course more than once within the same three-year licensing cycle.
|
|
Can excess hours be carried over?
|
|
|
Yes. Ohio is one of the few states that allows you to carry forward surplus credits to your next licensing term. However, you are limited to carrying over a maximum of 10 elective hours per three-year cycle.
