Continuing Education Requirements
How many CE hours do I need?
30 CE credit hours are required every 2 years.

Inactive licensees are not required to complete continuing education at the time of license renewal.

Core Curriculum Requirement: All licensees are required to complete 3 hours of Core Curriculum, offered by GeeWhiz as "Core Curriculum: Current Issues in Washington Residental Real Estate Core" every 2 years as part of their 30 hour requirement.

NOTE: First time renewing licensees are required to take an additional 30 hours in Advanced Real Estate Practices and 30 hours in Real Estate Law for a total of 90 hours. Advanced Real Estate Practices and Real Estate Law courses are not offered by GeeWhiz.
Are there any state specific CE course subject requirements?

Licensees must read the course material to receive credit for the course.
What are the exam requirements for my courses?
With us, there is no final exam required.
Can I repeat a course I've already taken?
You may repeat a course for credit after each renewal period.
When will my course completions be reported?
CE Providers do not report course completions to the state. Licensees must report all courses taken for each renewal on the state's licensing website at Washington State Department of Licensing.
Are you approved by the state?
